For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.

For those who have served well as deacons gain for themselves a high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren, but they must serve them all the better, because those who benefit by their service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties.
Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also may be fearful of sinning.
So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their homes, and give the enemy no occasion for reproach.
not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
If any woman who is a believer has dependent widows, she must assist them, and let not the church be burdened, so that it may assist those who are real widows.
he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, which produce envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions,
Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.
I charge you, in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, doing nothing out of favoritism.
