But if they {do not accept your terms of peace} and they want to make war with you, then you shall lay siege against it.

and you see among the captives a woman beautiful in appearance, and you become attached to her and you want to take her as wife,

And then if you do not take delight in her, then you shall let her go {to do whatever she wants}, but you shall not treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her.

And at the festivals and at the appointed times, the grain offering will be an ephah with a bull and an ephah with the ram and with the male lambs, {as much as he wants to give}, and a hin of olive oil {for each ephah}.

And he was driven away {from human society} and his mind was made like the animals and his dwelling [was] with the wild asses; [and] {he was given} grass like oxen to eat, and with the dew of heaven his body was bathed, until he acknowledged that the Most High God [is] sovereign over the kingdom of humankind, and {whoever} he wants he sets over it.

He trusts in God; let him deliver him now if he wants to, because he said, 'I am the Son of God'!"

And [when] the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced and pleased Herod and {his dinner guests}, the king said to the girl, "Ask me [for] whatever you want, and I will give [it] to you."

And she came in immediately with haste to the king [and] asked, saying, "I want you to give me the head of John the Baptist on a platter immediately."

And [although he] was deeply grieved, the king, because of his oaths and {dinner guests}, did not want to refuse her.

And from there they went out [and] passed through Galilee. And he did not want anyone to know,

And he said to them, "What do you want that I do for you?"

and whoever wants to be most prominent among you must be the slave of all.

So Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release for you the king of the Jews?"
