Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all the things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which it was our duty to do.
Let the husband render to the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife to the husband.
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching:
When a man hath newly taken a wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife which he hath taken.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

Let the elders that rule well, be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight of it, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but from a ready mind;
As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
