and all their villages were around these cities, to Baal. These were their homes and their family line.

These going by name were rulers in their families. And the house of their fathers increased greatly.

And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and struck their tents, and the homes that were found there, and completely destroyed them until this day, and lived in their places, because there was pasture there for their flocks.

These were the sons of Gad, captains of the army. One of the least was over a hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.

These were they who went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks. And they put all those of the valleys to flight, toward the east and toward the west.

All these were men of war, keeping rank, they came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over Israel. And also all the rest of Israel was of one heart to make David king.

And these were the names of the children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,

According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.

O Jehovah, for Your servant's sake, and according to Your own heart, You have done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.

These were born to the giant in Gath. And they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.

And David said to God, Did not I command to number the people? I am the one who has sinned and done evil indeed. But these sheep, what have they done? I pray You, let Your hand be on me, O Jehovah my God, and on my father's house, but not on Your people, that they should be plagued.

All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, harps and lyres, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

All these were the sons of Obed-edom. They and their sons and their brothers were able men for strength for the service, and there were sixty-two of Obed-edom.

Among these were the divisions of the gatekeepers, among the chief men, having charges like their brothers, to minister in the house of Jehovah.

These are the divisions of the gatekeepers among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.

The ruler of Dan was Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the rulers of the tribes of Israel.

And over the flocks was Jaziz the son of Hagar. All these were the rulers of the substance which was King David's.

I know also, my God, that You try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these things. And now I have seen with joy Your people who are present here to offer willingly to You.

And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the magnificent house for which I have made ready.
