And so, he is like a tree planted by streams of water that gives its fruit in its season; its leaf also does not wither. Therefore all that he does prospers.

You have caused us to pull back from [the] enemy, and [so] those who hate us have plundered for themselves.

And [so the] heavens will praise your wonderful deed, O Yahweh, even your faithfulness, in [the] assembly of [the] holy ones.

And [so] my eye looks on my enemies. My ears hear those evildoers who rise up against me.

And [so] he brought out his people with joy, his chosen ones with rejoicing.

Our ancestors in Egypt did not understand your wonderful works. They did not remember your many acts of loyal love, and [so] they rebelled by [the] sea at {the Red Sea}.

And [so] they exchanged their glory for an image of an ox that eats grass.

And [so] I am a disgrace to them; [when] they see me, they shake their heads.

Yahweh [is] for me as my helper, and [so] I will look [in triumph] on those who hate me.

And [so] my spirit grows faint within me; my heart {within} me is desolate.

Turn aside from evil and do good and [so] abide forever.

And [so] I am like a man who hears not, and in whose mouth there are no retorts.

And [so] he brought me up from [the] roaring pit, from the miry clay. And he put my feet upon a rock; he made my steps steady.
