"Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, {toward the sea}, on the other side of the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles--

And going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the [son] of Zebedee and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets, and he called them.

And large crowds followed him from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and from the other side of the Jordan.

Now [when] Jesus saw many crowds around him, he gave orders to depart to the other side.

And [when] he came to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from among the tombs met him, very violent, so that no one was able to pass by along that road.

Then he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand," and he stretched [it] out, and it was restored [as] healthy as the other [one].

Then it goes and brings along with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and [they] go in [and] live there. And the last [state] of that person becomes worse than the first. So it will be for this evil generation also!"

And other [seed] fell on the rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and it sprang up at once because it did not have [any] depth of soil.

And other [seed] fell among the thorn plants, and the thorn plants came up and choked it.

But other [seed] fell on the good soil and produced grain, this one a hundred [times as much] and this one sixty and this one thirty.

And immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent away the crowds.

And large crowds came to him, having with them [the] mute, blind, lame, crippled, and many others, and they put them down at his feet, and he healed them.

And [when] the disciples arrived at the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

And they said, {Some} [say] John the Baptist, but others Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

But if he does not listen, take with you in addition one or two [others], so that by {the testimony} of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.

And it happened that when Jesus had finished these statements, he went away from Galilee and came into the region of Judea on the other side of the Jordan.

And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace.

And about the eleventh [hour] he went out [and] found others standing [there] and said to them, 'Why are you standing here the whole day unemployed?'

And a very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading [them] on the road.

Again, he sent other slaves, more than the first [ones], and they did the same [thing] to them.

They said to him, "He will destroy those evil [men] completely and lease the vineyard to other tenant farmers who will give him the fruits in their season."

Again he sent other slaves, saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened [cattle] have been slaughtered, and everything [is] ready. Come to the wedding celebration!" '

And the others, seizing his slaves, mistreated [them] and killed [them].

Therefore do and observe everything that they tell you, but do not do as {they do}, for they tell [others to do something] and do not do [it themselves].

And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect together from the four winds, from [one] end of heaven to the [other] end of it.

And later the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, lord, open [the door] for us!'

"He saved others; he is not able to save himself! He is the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him!

But the others said, "Leave [him] alone! let us see if Elijah is coming to save him."

Now Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.

and from Jerusalem and from Idumea and the other side of the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon a great crowd came to him [because they] heard all that he was doing.

And other [seed] fell on the good soil, and produced grain, coming up and increasing, and it bore [a crop]--one thirty and one sixty and one a hundred [times as much].

And others are the ones sown among the thorn plants--these are the ones who hear the word,

And on that day, [when it] was evening, he said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side."

And leaving the crowd, they took him along, as he was, in the boat. And other boats were with him.

And they came to the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gerasenes.

And [after] Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered to him, and he was beside the sea.

But others were saying, "He is Elijah," and others were saying, "[He is] a prophet like one of the prophets."

And immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself dismissed the crowd.

And [when they come] from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other [traditions] which they have received [and] hold fast to--[for example,] the washing of cups and pitchers and bronze kettles and dining couches.)

And he left them, got into [the boat] again, [and] went to the other side.

And they told him, saying, "John the Baptist, and others Elijah, and others that [you are] one of the prophets."

And from there he set out [and] came to the region of Judea and the other side of the Jordan, and again crowds came together to him. And again, as he was accustomed [to do], he began to teach them.

And many [people] spread their cloaks on the road, and others [spread] leafy branches [they] had cut from the fields.

And he sent another, and that one they killed. And [he sent] many others, [some] of whom they beat and [some] of whom they killed.

And the scribe said to him, "That is true, Teacher. You have said {correctly} that he is one and there is no other except him.

In the same way also the chief priests, along with the scribes, were mocking [him] to one another, saying, "He saved others; he is not able to save himself!

who used to follow him and serve him when he was in Galilee, and many other [women] who went up with him to Jerusalem.

And these went [and] reported [it] to the others, and they did not believe them.

So with many other exhortations also he proclaimed good news to the people.

And they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come [and] help them, and they came and filled both the boats so that they began to sink.

And Levi gave a great banquet for him in his house, and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining for the meal with them.

To the one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from the one who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic also.

"For there is no good tree that produces bad fruit, nor on the other hand a bad tree that produces good fruit,

"There were two debtors [who owed] a certain creditor. One owed five hundred denarii and the other fifty.

and Joanna the wife of Chuza (Herod's household manager), and Susanna, and many others who were helping to support them from their possessions.

And other [seed] fell on the rock, and [when it] came up, it withered, because it did not have moisture.

And other [seed] fell in the midst of the thorn plants, and the thorn plants grew up with [it] [and] choked it.

And other [seed] fell on the good soil, and [when it] came up, it produced a hundred times as much grain." [As he] said these [things], he called out, "The one who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

Now it happened that on one of the days both he and his disciples got into a boat, and he said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side of the lake." And they set sail,

and by some that Elijah had appeared, and others that some prophet of ancient times had risen.

And they answered [and] said, "John the Baptist, but others, Elijah, and others, that one of the ancient prophets has risen."

And after these [things], the Lord also appointed seventy-two others and sent them out two by two before {him} into every town and place where he was about to go.

Then it goes and brings along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and [they] go in [and] live there. And the last [state] of that person becomes worse than the first!"

But if not, [while] [the other] is still far away, he sends an ambassador [and] asks {for terms of} peace.

I tell you that in that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.

There will be two [women] grinding at the same [place]; one will be taken and the other will be left."

The Pharisee stood [and] prayed these [things] with reference to himself: 'God, I give thanks to you that I am not like other people--swindlers, unrighteous [people], adulterers, or even like this tax collector!

He will come and destroy those tenant farmers and give the vineyard to others." And [when they] heard [this], they said, "[May this] never happen!"

And they were saying many other [things] against him, reviling [him].

And two other criminals were also led away to be executed with him.

And when they came to the place that is called "The Skull," there they crucified him, and the criminals, the one on [his] right and the other on [his] left.

And the people stood there watching, but the rulers also ridiculed [him], saying, "He saved others; let him save himself, if this [man] is the Christ of God, the Chosen One!"

But the other answered [and] rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, because you are undergoing the same condemnation?

Now Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the [mother] of James and the others with them were telling these [things] to the apostles.

These [things] took place in Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

And they came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you on the other side of the Jordan, about whom you testified--look, this one is baptizing, and all are coming to him!"

After these [things] Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee (that is, Tiberias).

And getting into a boat, they began to go to the other side of the sea, to Capernaum. And it had already become dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.

On the next day, the crowd that was on the other side of the sea saw that other boats were not there (except one), and that Jesus had not entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had departed alone.

Other boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread [after] the Lord had given thanks.

And [when they] found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, "Rabbi, when did you get here?"

And there was a lot of grumbling concerning him among the crowds; some were saying, "He is a good [man]," but others were saying, "No, but he deceives the crowd."

Others were saying, "This man is the Christ!" But others were saying, "No, for the Christ does not come from Galilee, [does he]?

Others were saying, "It is this man"; others were saying, "No, but he is like him." That one was saying, "I am [he]!"

So some of the Pharisees were saying, "This man is not from God, because he does not observe the Sabbath!" Others were saying, "How can a man [who is] a sinner perform such signs?" And there was a division among them.

"Truly, truly I say to you, the one who does not enter through the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up at some other place--that one is a thief and a robber.
