You shall not do according to all that we do here today, each doing whatever is right in his own eyes.

But when you go over Jordan and live in the land which Jehovah your God gives you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies all around, so that you live in safety,

then there shall be a place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. There you shall bring all that I command you, your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to Jehovah.

And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God; you, your sons, your daughters, your menservants, your female servants, and the Levite that is within your gates (because he has no part nor inheritance with you).

Take heed to yourself that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see.

But in the place which Jehovah shall choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.

But you must eat them before Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose; you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite within your gates. And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God in all that you put your hand to.

Take heed to yourself that you do not forsake the Levite as long as you live on the earth.

Only be sure that you do not eat the blood. For the blood is the life. And you may not eat the life with the flesh.

You shall not eat it, so that it may go well with you and with your sons after you, when you shall do what is right in the sight of Jehovah.

But if a man hates his neighbor and lies in wait for him and rises up against him and strikes his life from him, so that he dies, and flees to one of these cities,

And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer to an ever-flowing stream, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the stream.

And all the elders of that city nearest to the slain one, shall wash their hands over the heifer that has been beheaded in the stream.

and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire to her, that you would take her for your wife,

And she shall put off the clothing of her captivity, and shall remain in your house, and shall sorrow for her father and her mother a full month. And after that you shall go in to her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife.

If a man has two wives, one beloved and another hated, and they have borne him sons, the beloved and the hated; and if the first-born son was of her that was hated,

But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated as the first-born by giving him a double portion of all that he has. For he is the beginning of his strength. The right of the first-born is his.

But if a man finds an engaged girl in the field, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man that lay with her shall die.

The sons that are born to them shall enter into the congregation of Jehovah in their third generation.

And you shall have a paddle on your weapon. And it shall be, when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it, and shall turn back and cover that which comes from you.

For Jehovah your God walks in the middle of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you. Therefore your camp shall be holy, so that He may see no unclean thing in you and turn away from you.

He shall live with you, among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of your gates, where it seems good to him. You shall not oppress him.

You shall not lend for interest to your brother, interest of silver, interest of food, interest of anything that is loaned on interest.

You may lend on interest to a stranger, but you shall not lend on interest to your brother, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all that you set your hand to in the land where you go to possess it.
