Then he shall sweep by [as] a wind, and shall pass over, and be guilty; he whose might is his god.

and makes men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?

He takes all of them up with the hook. He catches them in his net, and gathers them in his drag. Therefore he rejoices and is glad.

Behold, is it not of LORD of hosts that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?

Thou are filled with shame, and not glory. Drink thou also, and be as one uncircumcised. The cup of LORD's right hand shall come around to thee, and foul shame shall be upon thy glory.

Woe to him who says to the wood, Awake, to the dumb stone, Arise! Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.

For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and they have told FALSE dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are afflicted, because there is no shepherd.

In that day LORD shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And he who is feeble among them at that day shall be as David, and the house of David shall be as God, as the agent of LORD before them.

In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
