You will roll them up like a robe, and they will be changed like clothes. But you remain the same, and your life will never end."

So in my anger I swore a solemn oath that they would never enter my rest."

And to whom did he swear that they would never enter his rest? It was to those who disobeyed him, was it not?

We who have believed are entering that rest, just as he has said, "So in my anger I swore a solemn oath that they would never enter my rest,"

and again in this passage, "They will never enter my rest."

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned.

Never again will everyone teach his neighbor or his brother by saying, "Know the Lord,' because all of them will know me, from the least important to the most important.

For I will be merciful regarding their wrong deeds, and I will never again remember their sins."

Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, "I will never leave you or abandon you."

Stop being carried away by all kinds of unusual teachings, for it is good that the heart be strengthened by grace, not by food laws that have never helped those who follow them.
