Your {mind} will meditate [on the] terror: "Where [is the] one who counted? Where [is the] one who weighed out? Where [is the] one who counted the towers?"

They do not know, and they do not understand, for their eyes [are] besmeared {so that they cannot see}, their {minds} {so that they have no insight}.

[He] feeds [on] ashes; a {deceived mind} misleads him. And he cannot save {himself}, and he cannot say, "Is [this] not an illusion in my right hand?"

Remember this and pluck up courage! Call to {mind}, [you] transgressors!

For look! I [am] about to create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered, and they shall not {come to mind}.
