Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy; for by faith ye have stood.

So then death worketh in us, but life in you. Yet having the same spirit of faith,

(For we walk by faith, not by sight.)

Therefore as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

Not boastingly extending ourselves beyond our measure, in the labours of others; but having hope, now your faith is increased, to be inlarged by you,

Examine yourselves, whether ye are in the faith: prove yourselves. Do ye not know yourselves? That Jesus Christ is in you? unless ye are reprobates.
