You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shall you undertake to uncover her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter. They are her near kinswomen; it is wickedness.

You shall not do these so that the land may not spew you out also when you defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.

And you shall keep My ordinance, so as not to do any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves in them. I am Jehovah your God.

And you shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, nor of your father's sister. For he uncovers his near kin. They shall bear their iniquity.

And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless.

You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and do them, so that the land where I bring you to live shall not spit you out.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people.

Only he shall not go in to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a blemish; so that he does not profane My sanctuaries. For I, Jehovah, do sanctify them.

Say to them, Any man of all your seed among your generations who draws near to the holy things, which the sons of Israel set apart to Jehovah, if he has his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from My presence. I am Jehovah.

And a priest's daughter, when she belongs to a man, a stranger, she may not eat of the heave offering of the holy things.

But if the priest's daughter is a widow, or put away, and has no child, and has returned to her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's food. But no stranger shall eat of it.

and so load on them the iniquity of the guilt offering in their eating of their holy things. For I am Jehovah who sanctifies them.

then let him count the years of the sale of it, and restore the overplus to the man to whom he sold it, so that he may return to his possession.

And if your brother has become poor, and his hand has failed with you, then you shall help him; yes, even if he is a stranger or a tenant, so that he may live with you.

You shall take no interest from him, or increase. But you shall fear your God, so that your brother may live with you.

And if an alien or a tenant lifts up a hand among you, and your brother who dwells beside him becomes poor and sells himself to the alien or tenant by you, or to the offshoot of the alien's family,

either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him, or any that is near of kin to him of his family may redeem him. Or if he is able, he may redeem himself.

and if you shall despise My statutes, or if your soul hates My judgments, so that you will not do all My commandments, so that you break My covenant;

I will also do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, consumption, and burning fever, consuming the eyes and causing sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

But for their sakes, I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, so that I might be their God. I am Jehovah.

Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When a man shall make a special vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah by your evaluation.

And the priest shall value it, whether it is good or bad. As you the priest value it, so shall it be.

And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy to Jehovah, then the priest shall judge it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest shall judge it, so shall it stand.

But the field, when it goes out in the jubilee, shall be holy to Jehovah, as a field devoted. The possession of it shall be the priest's.

However, the first-born of an animal, which should be Jehovah's first-born, no man shall sanctify it, whether an ox, or sheep, it is Jehovah's.

As Jehovah commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

And the sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born son, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, by their heads, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:

But the Levites shall pitch around the tabernacle of testimony, so that there may be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

And the sons of Israel did according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses. So they did.

Every man of the sons of Israel shall pitch by his own banner, with the banner of their father's house. They shall pitch far off, around the tabernacle of the congregation.

Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, so that they may minister to him.

and the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar all around, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them. So they shall serve.

According to the command of Jehovah they were numbered by the hand of Moses, everyone according to his service and according to his burden. So they were numbered by him as Jehovah commanded Moses.

And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say to the woman, If no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband, you are free from this bitter water that causes the curse.

then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing. And the priest shall say to the woman, Jehovah make you a curse and an oath among your people, when Jehovah makes your thigh to fall away and your belly to swell.

And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels to make your belly swell and your thigh fall away. And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand and shall wave the offering before Jehovah, and offer it upon the altar.

Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When a man or a woman shall vow a vow, a vow of a Nazarite, to be separated to Jehovah,

This is the law of the Nazarite who has vowed his offering to Jehovah for his separation, besides that which he is able to get. According to the vow which he vowed, so he must do according to the law of his separation.

Take it from them so that they may be used in doing the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall give them to the Levites, to every man according to his service.

Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When you bring the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.

And Aaron did so. He lighted its lamps in front of the lampstand, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

And this work of the lampstand was of beaten gold, to its base and to its blossoms; it was beaten work. According to the pattern which Jehovah had showed Moses, so he made the lampstand.

And Aaron shall offer the Levites before Jehovah for an offering of the sons of Israel, so that they may do the service of Jehovah.

So you shall separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall be Mine.

And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the sons of Israel, so that there may be no plague among the sons of Israel when the sons of Israel come near the sanctuary.

And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the sons of Israel did to the Levites according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses concerning the Levites. So the sons of Israel did to them.

And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons. Even as Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.

But they shall minister with their brothers in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge; only he shall not serve at a service. So you shall do to the Levites as to their duties.

And they prepared the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so all the sons of Israel did.

And there were certain men who were defiled by the dead body of a man, so that they could not prepare the Passover on that day. And they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.

So it was always. The cloud covered it, and it looked like fire by night.

And so when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle, according to the command of Jehovah they remained in their tents, and according to the command of Jehovah they pulled up stakes.

And so when the cloud stayed from evening to the morning, and the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they pulled up stakes. Whether by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they pulled up stakes.

And he said, Please do not leave us, because you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and so you may be to us for eyes.

And Moses said to Jehovah, Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, so that You lay the burden of all this people upon me?

Have I conceived all this people? Did I bring them forth, that You should say to me, Bear them in your bosom like a nursing father carries the sucking child, to the land which You swore to their fathers?

And if You are going to part this way with me, I beg You to kill me at once, if I have found favor in Your sight, and let me not see my misery.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and the officers over them. And bring them to the tabernacle of the congregation so that they may stand there with you.
