For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you what I wish you to be, and you may not find me what you wish me to be; I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!"

for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, clothed in white robes, and where have they come from?"

I said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The first woe is past; behold, two woes are still to come.
