Wherefore I was offended with that generation, and said, They always err in their heart, but they knew not my ways;
But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
For to us were glad tidings addressed, as well as to them; but the word which was heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
and there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and laid open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
For we have not a highpriest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who hath in all points been tempted as we are, without sin.

But now he hath obtained a more excellent ministry, in proportion as he is the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been established upon better promises.
In that he saith, "a new covenant," he hath made the first old; but that which is becoming old, and worn out with age, is ready to vanish away.
but into the second the highpriest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offereth for himself, and for the errors of the people;
But Christ having appeared, as a highpriest of the good things to come, passing through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, entered once for all into the sanctuary,
not with the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, and obtained for us everlasting redemption.
It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with sacrifices better than these.
For Christ did not enter into a sanctuary made with hands, which is only a copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God in our behalf.
for then must he have suffered many times since the foundation of the world; but now once in the end of the world he hath appeared, to put away sin by means of his sacrifice.
And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment;
For the Law but shadowing forth the good things to come, and not having the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually make those who come with them perfect.
But in these sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins every year.

But where there is remission of these, there is no longer offering for sin.
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
but a certain fearful looking for judgment, and an indignation by fire, which will devour the adversaries.
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were enlightened, ye endured a great struggle with sufferings;
Now my righteous man shall live by faith; but if he draw back, my soul hath no pleasure in him."
But we are not of those who draw back, unto perdition; but of those who believe, to the saving of the soul.
But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

Now all chastening for the present indeed seemeth to be not joyous, but grievous; but afterward it yieldeth the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
and make straight paths for your feet, that the lame may not be turned out of the way, but may rather be healed.
but ye have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads, the general assembly of angels;
whose voice then shook the earth; but now he hath promised, saying, "Yet once more will I shake, not the earth only, but also the heaven."
Let marriage be honored in all respects, and the bed be undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
for here we have no abiding city, but are seeking that which is to come.
But works of kindness and liberality forget not; for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
but I the more earnestly entreat you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
But I beseech you, brethren, bear with the word of my exhortation; for I have written to you in few words.

This wisdom is not that which descendeth from above, but earthly, sensual, devilish.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.
but he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble."
Speak not against one another, brethren; he that speaketh against his brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law; but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

but as he who called you is holy, be ye also holy in all your conduct;
but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot;
who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you,
being born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.

that ye may no longer live the remaining time in the flesh after the lusts of men, but after the will of God.
For to this end was the gospel preached also to the dead, that they might indeed be judged according to men in the flesh, but might live according to God in the spirit.
But the end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
