These things I have spoken to you in parables; the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in parables, but will teach you plainly concerning the Father.

Now we know that thou knowest all things, and hast no need that any one should ask thee. By this we believe that thou hast come forth from God.

Now they know that all things that thou hast given me are from thee;

And I have made known to them thy name, and will continue to make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Then Jesus, knowing all things that were coming upon him, went forth, and said to them: Whom do you seek?

Jesus answered him: If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you strike me?
