[those] who say, "With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips [are] on our side. Who [is] master over us?"

Give ear, O God, [to] my prayer, and do not hide yourself from my plea.

Look, they pour out [talk] with their mouth. Swords [are] on their lips, for [they say], "Who hears?"

Give ear, O shepherd of Israel, [who] leads Joseph like a flock. Shine forth, [you who] sits [enthroned above] the cherubim.

O Yahweh, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah
