Then took he the calf which they had made and burned it in the fire, and ground it till it became powder, and strewed it on the face of the waters, and made the sons of Israel drink.

So Moses took his stand in the gate of the camp, and said - Who is for Yahweh? -- To me! Then gathered unto him all the sons of Levi,

So he hewed two tables of stone like the first and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up into Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, - and took in his hand two tables of stone.

And Yahweh descended in the cloud, and took his station with him there, - and proclaimed himself by the name Yahweh.

And they took, from the presence of Moses, all the heave-offering which the sons of Israel had brought in for the work of the holy service to do it, - howbeit, they, brought in unto him yet more free-will offerings, meriting by morning.
