I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you could not take it. Why, you cannot take it even now,

But it is not in all of you that such knowledge is found. Some, because of their past habits with idols, even down to the present moment, still eat such food as was really sacrificed to an idol, and so their consciences, because they are overscrupulous, are contaminated.

Food will never bring us near to God. We are no worse if we do not eat it; we are no better if we do.

For if somebody sees you, who have an intelligent view of this matter, partaking of a meal in an idol's temple, will he not be emboldened, with his overscrupulous conscience, to eat the food which has been sacrificed to an idol?

So then, if food can make my brother fall, I will never, no, never, eat meat again, in order to keep my brother from falling.

It cannot be that we have no right to our food and drink, can it?

and all ate the same spiritual food,

If I give thanks and thus partake of food, why am I to be blamed for that for which I give thanks?

If the foot says, "Since I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body.

The eye cannot say to the hand, "I do not need you," or the hand to the feet, "I do not need you."

For I belong to the lowest rank of the apostles, and am not fit to bear the title apostle, because I once persecuted the church of God.

for He must continue to be king until He puts all His enemies under His feet.

for He has put everything in subjection under His feet. But when He says that everything has been put in subjection to Him, He Himself is evidently excepted who put it all in subjection to Him.

but God gives it just the body He sees fit, even each kind of seed its own body.
