Otherwise, He would have had to suffer many times since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared one time, at the end of the ages,
And just as it is destined for people to die one time, and [then] after that to be judged,
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
By [Christ doing] what God wanted, we have been set aside for God through Jesus Christ offering His body once for all time.
