"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear.

"Israel is a scattered flock, the lions have driven them away The first one who devoured him was the king of Assyria, and this last one who has broken his bones is Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

"My people have become lost sheep; Their shepherds have led them astray They have made them turn aside on the mountains; They have gone along from mountain to hill And have forgotten their resting place.

"My flock wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them."'"

"What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying?

"Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

"He quieted the sea with His power, And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

Once God has spoken; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;

More than the sounds of many waters, Than the mighty breakers of the sea, The LORD on high is mighty.

The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, And the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished In whirlwind and storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet.

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past,

to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.

"We remember the fish which we used to eat free in Egypt, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic,

A worker's appetite works for him, For his hunger urges him on.

With the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips.

And put a knife to your throat If you are a man of great appetite.

"They struck me, but I did not become ill; They beat me, but I did not know it When shall I awake? I will seek another drink."

All a man's labor is for his mouth and yet the appetite is not satisfied.

It will be as when a hungry man dreams-- And behold, he is eating; But when he awakens, his hunger is not satisfied, Or as when a thirsty man dreams-- And behold, he is drinking, But when he awakens, behold, he is faint And his thirst is not quenched. Thus the multitude of all the nations will be Who wage war against Mount Zion.

"Come," they say, "let us get wine, and let us drink heavily of strong drink; And tomorrow will be like today, only more so."

In that day the LORD of hosts will become a beautiful crown And a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people; A spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, A strength to those who repel the onslaught at the gate.

"By smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.

"The Almighty--we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not do violence to justice and abundant righteousness.

"But if you do go, do it, be strong for the battle; yet God will bring you down before the enemy, for God has power to help and to bring down."

The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, And the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished In whirlwind and storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet.

that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the LORD is mighty, so that you may fear the LORD your God forever."

The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. "He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters At the boundary of light and darkness.

"Or who enclosed the sea with doors When, bursting forth, it went out from the womb;

And I said, 'Thus far you shall come, but no farther; And here shall your proud waves stop'?

He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

You set a boundary that they may not pass over, So that they will not return to cover the earth.

When He set for the sea its boundary So that the water would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth;

'Do you not fear Me?' declares the LORD 'Do you not tremble in My presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it. Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.

"Or the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its fruit; and you will perish quickly from the good land which the LORD is giving you.

"For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made."

So Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD; and the thunder and the hail ceased, and rain no longer poured on the earth.

"For to the snow He says, 'Fall on the earth,' And to the downpour and the rain, 'Be strong.'

When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses.

Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Come and hear, all who fear God, And I will tell of what He has done for my soul.

I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings And shall not be ashamed.

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the sum of them.

With my lips I have told of All the ordinances of Your mouth.

'Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,

Thus you shall say to them, "The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under the heavens." It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

"Command them to go to their masters, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, thus you shall say to your masters, "I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.

And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
