Therefore, holy brothers, comrades of a heavenly calling, fix your thoughts then upon Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession.
for we were receiv'd into the communion of Christ, upon condition of inviolably maintaining the hope we had at the beginning even unto the end,
And who were they to whom God swore that they should not enter upon his rest, if not those who had proved faithless?
We see, then, that they failed to enter upon it because of their want of faith.
