The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

(Now this first inrolment was made, when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

And lo an angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid.

And much people being gathered together, coming to him out of every city, he spake by a parable, A sower went forth to sow his seed:

And the servant said, Sir, it is done as thou hast commanded; and yet there is room.

He said, Render therefore to C?sar the things which are C?sar's, and to God the things which are God's.

and found them sleeping for sorrow, And said to them, Why sleep ye? Rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
