And our God is in the heavens, All that He hath pleased He hath done.

They that make them, are like unto them; and so are all such as put their trust in them.

Help me understand
the meaning of Your precepts
so that I can meditate on Your wonders.

I will run the way of Your commandments [with purpose],
For You will give me a heart that is willing.

(He) Teach me, O Lord, the lifestyle prescribed by your statutes, so that I might observe it continually.

Give me understanding [a teachable heart and the ability to learn], that I may keep Your law;
And observe it with all my heart.

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.

O establish thy word in thy servant, that I may fear thee.

Take away the rebuke that I am afraid of; for thy judgments are good.

that I may give answer unto my blasphemers - for my trust is in thy word.

This is what comforts me in my troubles: that what you say revives me.

I am horribly afraid for the ungodly that forsake thy law.

This hath been to me, That Thy precepts I have kept!

CHETH. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

The proud have digged for me pits, That are not according to Thy law.

Revive me according to your gracious love; and I will keep the decrees that you have proclaimed. Lamed

I see that all things come to an end, but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

I refrain my feet from every evil way, that I may keep thy words.

I have not departed from thy judgments; for it is thou that hast taught me.

I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

{Samekh} I hate them that imagine evil things; but thy law do I love.

Leave me, you who practice evil, that I may observe the commands of my God.

O establish me according unto thy word, that I may live; and let me not be disappointed of my hope.

Support me, that I may be saved, and I will carry out your statutes consistently.

Thou treadest down all them that depart from thy statutes, for they imagine but deceit.

Be thou surety for thy servant to do him good, that the proud do me no wrong.

I am thy servant; O grant me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

It is time that Yahweh should work, They have frustrated thy law!

Your decrees are wonderful that's why I observe them.

O look thou upon me, and be merciful, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

Deliver me from oppressive men, so that I can keep your precepts.

The testimonies that thou hast commanded are exceeding righteous and true.

Your rules remain just. Give me insight so that I can live.

I cried out to you, "Deliver me, so that I can keep your rules."

Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might be occupied in thy words.

They draw nigh that of malice persecute me, and are far from thy law.

As concerning thy testimonies, I have known ever since the beginning that thou hast grounded them for ever.

Many there are that trouble me, and persecute me; yet do I not swerve from thy testimonies.
