Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi.

Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.

These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to explore the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.

So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, as men come to Hamath.

And they ascended by the south, and came to Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: its limit shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon:

The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of Jordan near Jericho eastward, towards the sun-rising.

These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

And the names of the men are these: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
