every man's work shall be made manifest: for that day shall declare it, for it shall be laid open by fire; and the fire shall prove every man's work of what sort it is.

If any man's work which he hath built abide [the trial], he shall receive a reward.

If any man's work be burnt up, he shall suffer loss: but himself shall be saved; yet so as through the fire.

and work hard, labouring with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it;

AM I not an apostle? am I not a free man? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

But if Timothy come, see that he may be among you without fear: for he worketh the Lord's work, as I also do.
