"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if anyone hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more.
And I saw a great white throne, and Him Who was sitting thereon, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them.
And I saw Heaven opened; and, behold, a white horse, and He Who sat on him, called Faithful and True; and in righteousness doth He judge and make war.
But, for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their part shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death."
"I testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone shall add to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
After these things I saw, and, behold, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation, and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands;
And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole habitable earth; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them; and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God; and such as worshiped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain upon his hand.
But you have a few names in Sardis, who did not defile their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy.
And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no more; neither mourning, nor crying, nor pain, shall be any more; because the first things passed away."
And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having the eternal Gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people;
Behold, He cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall lament over Him! Even so. Amen.
And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where also the beast and the false prophet were cast; and they shall be tormented, day and night, forever and ever.
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the First-born of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him Who loveth, and loosed us from our sins in His own blood,
"And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write these things," saith the Amen, the Faithful and the True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
"And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come'; and let him that hears say, 'Come'; and let him that thirsts say, 'Come'; he that will let him take the water of life freely.
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," saith the Lord God, Who is, and Who was, and Who is coming, the Almighty.
And there was war in the heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to war with the dragon. And the dragon made war, and his angels;
And they sing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to open its seals; because Thou wast slain, and didst redeem to God, by Thy blood, some of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
"Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because Thou didst create all things; and, because of Thy will, they were, and were created."
"Behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to render to each one according as his work is.
And, if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him, to show to His servants the things which must shortly come to pass; and, having sent, He signified them through His angel to His servant John;
And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in Heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world became our Lord's and His Christ's; and He will reign forever and ever."
And, when He opened the fifth seal, I saw, underneath the altar, the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they were holding.
John to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from Him Who is, and Who was, and Who is coming; and from the seven Spirits Who are before His throne;
(12:18) and he stood upon the sand of the sea. (13:1) And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.
Fear not the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
And I heard a great voice out of the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them, as their God.
And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead;
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things that were written in the books, according to their works.
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image. The two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
And I saw no temple in it; for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof.
And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.
Happy is he that reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things written therein; for the time is near.
And I heard another voice out of Heaven saying, "Come forth out of her, my people, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues;
Here is wisdom. He that has understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is a number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six.
Let us rejoice, and exult, and give the glory to Him; because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife made herself ready."
And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars;
And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, issuing forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,
and they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they loved not their soul, even to death.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day; and I heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet,
And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the founding of a world.
Because you kept the word of My patience. I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole inhabited earth, to try those who dwell upon the earth.
After these things I saw, and, behold, a door opened in Heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as a voice of a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up hither, and I will show you the things which must take place after these."
and the Living One; and I was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore; and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
And I saw, when He opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake took place; and the sun became black as sack-cloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood;
And His head and hair were white as white wool, as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire;
"To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write these things," saith He Who holdeth the seven stars in His right hand, He Who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:
And, when He opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come."
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
Of the tribe of Zebulon, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed.
And, when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be loosed out of his prison,
And I saw, and, behold, the Lamb, standing on the mount Zion, and with Him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name, and the name of His Father, written on their foreheads.
and made us a kingdom, and priests to God and His Father; to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he was speaking as a dragon.
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree.
And they heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying to them, "Come up hither." And they went up into Heaven, in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
"And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write these things," saith He Who is holy, He Who is true, He Who hath the key of David, He Who openeth, and no one shall shut; and shutteth, and no one opens:
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies. To him that overcomes, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
Happy and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
"I, Jesus, sent My angel to testify to you these things to the assemblies. I am the root and offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.
And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus;
And another angel came forth out of the Temple, crying with a great voice to Him Who was sitting upon the cloud, "Send forth Thy sickle, and reap; because the hour to reap came, because the harvest of the earth was fully dried.
And, when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead! And He laid His right hand on me, saying, "Fear not; I am the First and the Last,
And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, and spake with me, saying, "Come hither! I will show you the judgment of the great harlot, that sits on many waters;
Happy are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
He Who testifieth these things saith, "Yea; I come quickly." Amen; come, Lord Jesus!
And He Who was sitting upon the cloud sent forth His sickle, and the earth was reaped.
"And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write these things," saith He Who hath the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are living, and you are dead.
And I heard a great voice in Heaven, saying, "Now came the salvation, and the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ; because the accuser of our brethren was cast down, he who accused them before our God day and night;
And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, "See that you do it not: I am a fellow-servant of you and of your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
I, John, your brother, and fellow-sharer in the tribulation, and kingdom, and patience in Jesus, was in the island called Patmos, because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
And there was given to me a reed, like a staff, one Saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those worshipping therein.
And I saw, in the right hand of Him Who was sitting on the throne, a book written within and on the back, sealed up with seven seals.
After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! the salvation, and the glory, and the power, are our God's;
And I will give to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
and His feet like burnished brass, as if glowing in a furnace; and His voice as the voice of many waters;
"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would you were cold or hot.
Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
He that overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with Me in My throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with My Father in His throne.
The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection.
And the four living creatures, having each one of them six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and they have no rest, day and night, saying, "Holy! Holy! Holy! the Lord God, the Almighty, Who was, and Who is, and Who is coming!"
and didst make them, to our God, a Kingdom and priests, and they reign on the earth."
and having in His right hand seven stars; and a sharp, two-edged sword proceeding out of His mouth; and His countenance was as the sun shining in his power.
and one of the elders says to me, "Weep not; behold, the Lion Who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, prevailed to open the book, and its seven seals.
and, in the midst of the candlesticks, One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girded at the breasts with a golden girdle.
Write, therefore, the things which you saw, and the things which are, and the things which are about to take place after these;
Because you say, 'I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing'; and do not know that you are the wretched one, and pitiable, and poor, and blind, and naked!
And I saw, when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, "Come."
And I saw, and heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and of the living creatures, and of the elders, (and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands);
And the rest were killed with the sword of Him Who was sitting on the horse, the sword that went forth out of His mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
He that overcomes shall thus be clothed in white garments; and I will in nowise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fallen out of the heaven to the earth, and there was given to him the key of the pit of the abyss.
And the woman whom you saw is the great city which has a kingdom over the kings of the earth.
And there shall in nowise enter into it any thing unclean, or he that works abomination and a lie; but only those written in the Lamb's book of life.
and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, that had souls, died; and the third part of the ships was destroyed.
And they have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months.
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! because the Lord our God, the Almighty, became King!
And out of the throne proceed lightnings and voices and thunderings; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;
And he seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
saying, "What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven assemblies; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them; because He is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful."
And, when He took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having, each, a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
And another sign was seen in the heaven; and, behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems.
and upon her forehead a name written, "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
He that overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God; and he shall in nowise go out any more: and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God, and My own New Name.
And He came, and hath taken it out of the right hand of Him Who sitteth upon the throne.
"I know your tribulation, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
And the serpent cast out of his mouth, after the woman, water as a river, that he might cause her to be borne away by the river.
And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons; and the rest became terrified, and gave glory to the God of Heaven.
And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, wherein all who have ships in the sea became rich by reason of her costliness! because in one hour she was made desolate.
And another angel came forth out of the Temple which is in Heaven, himself also having a sharp sickle.
and they cry with a great voice, saying, "Salvation to our God, Who sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
And he says to me, "You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings."
And the earth helped the woman; and the earth opened her mouth, and drank down the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
And the winepress was trodden outside of the city, and blood came forth out of the winepress even to the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
And the first living creature was like a lion; and the second living creature like a calf; and the third living creature having a face as of a man; and the fourth living creature was like an eagle flying.
But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
And the twenty-four elders who sit before God on their thrones fell on their faces, and worshiped God,
And there were lightnings and voices and thunders; and there was an earthquake, a great one, such as was not since there were men on the earth, so mighty an earthquake, so great.
saying, "Amen. The blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honor, and the power, and the strength, be to our God forever and ever. Amen!"
And the third angel sounded; and there fell out of the heaven a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell on the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of the waters.
And all the angels stood around the throne, and around the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God,
Rejoice over her, O Heaven, and ye saints, and ye apostles, and ye prophets; because God judged your judgment on her.'
And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are clothed in white robes, who are they, and whence did they come?"
And they cried with a great voice, saying, "How long, O Master, the Holy, and the True, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell upon the earth?"
And the nations will walk by its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.
And another angel came forth out from the altar, he that has authority over the fire; and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; because her grapes were ripe."
saying, "We give thanks to Thee, O Lord God, the Almighty, Who art, and Who wast; because Thou hast taken Thy great power, and didst reign.
and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig-tree casts her unripe figs, when shaken by a great wind;
And, when the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him Who sitteth on the throne??o Him Who liveth forever and ever,
And a strong angel took up a stone, as it were a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence shall Babylon, the great city, be cast down, and in nowise be found any more!
And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many of the men died in consequence of the waters, because they were made bitter.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies. He that overcomes shall in nowise be hurt by the second death.
And a white robe was given to each one of them; and it was said to them, that they should rest yet a little time, until their fellow-servants and their brethren, who were about to be slain, as they also had been, should fulfill their course.
the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him Who sitteth on the throne, and will worship Him Who liveth forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
And the fourth angel sounded; and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, that the third part of them might be darkened, and that the day might not shine for the third part of it, and the night in like manner.
And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those who sat on them, having breastplates as of fire, and hyacinth, and brimstone. And the heads of the horses are as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceed fire, and smoke, and brim-stone.
And I saw, and heard an eagle flying in mid-heaven, saying with a great voice, "Woe, woe, woe, to those who dwell on the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"
And the four living creatures said, "Amen." And the elders fell down and worshiped.
and the light of a lamp shall in nowise shine in you any more: and the voice of bridegroom and of bride shall be heard in you no more; because your merchants were the princes of the earth; because by your sorcery were all the nations deceived.
"I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
And her children I will slay with death; and all the assemblies shall know that I am He Who searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give to you, each one, according to your works.
And great hail, as of a talent's weight, comes down out of the heaven upon the men; and the men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; because the plague thereof is exceedingly great!
And the sixth angel sounded; and I heard one voice out of the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
And the four angels were loosed, who had been prepared for the hour, and day, and month, and year, that they might kill the third part of men.
And the heaven was removed, as a scroll rolled up; and every mountain and island were removed out of their places.
Repent, therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and will make war with them with the sword of My mouth.
And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand: I heard the number of them.
"I know your works, and your love, and faith, and ministry, and your patience; and your last works to be more than the first.
And the great city was divided into three parts; and the cities of the nations fell; and Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
and they repented not of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornications, nor of their thefts.
They shall hunger no more, nor thirst any more; nor shall the sun by any means fall on them, nor any heat;
saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet; "Loose the four angels that are bound in the great river Euphrates."
and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
And, after the three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell on those who beheld them.
And I gave her time, that she might repent; and she is not willing to repent of her fornication.
And the angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Behold, I cast her into a bed, and those committing adultery with her, into great tribulation, if they repent not of their works.
For the power of the horses is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they hurt.
But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who knew not the deep things of Satan, as they say, I cast on you no other burden;
and around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones twenty-four elders sitting, arrayed in white garments, and on their heads crowns of gold.
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of earthenware are broken in pieces, as I also have received from My Father;
and, being with child, she cries out, travailing in birth, and being in pain to bring forth.
And the first sounded; and there followed hail and fire, mingled with blood, and they were cast to the earth; and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
And the voice of harpers and musicians, and flute-players and trumpeters shall in nowise be heard in you any more. And no craftsman of whatever craft shall in any wise be found in you any more; and no sound of a millstone shall ever be heard in you any more;
And some of the peoples, and tribes, and tongues, and nations, look upon their corpses three days and a half; and they suffer not their corpses to be put into a tomb.
And I heard as if a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, "A measure of wheat for a denary, and three measures of barley for a denary; and the oil and the wine do not hurt."
Become watchful, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your works complete before My God.
And I saw a strong angel, proclaiming with a great voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose its seals!"
And, when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come." And I saw, and, behold, a black horse, and he who sat on him had a balance in his hand.
And, if anyone wishes to injure them, fire issues out of their mouth, and devours their enemies; and, if anyone wishes to injure them, he must in this manner be slain.
And those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry, and they will send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented those dwelling on the earth.
These have authority to shut the heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they may wish.
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, that stand before the Lord of the earth.
And, when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come."
and He Who was sitting was, in appearance, like a jasper stone and a sardius; there was a rainbow round about the throne, in appearance, like an emerald;
And there went forth another horse, a red one; and to him who was sitting thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
And, when the seven thunders spake, I was about to write; and I heard a voice out of Heaven, saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders spake, and write them not."
And he had in his hand a little book opened; and he set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land;
and he cried with a great voice, as a lion roars; and, when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey; and, when I ate it, my belly was made bitter.
And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and there were given to them seven trumpets.
And I went to the angel, saying to him, that he should give me the little book. And he says to me, "Take, and eat it up; and it will make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey."
And the voice which I heard from Heaven, I heard again, talking with me, and saying, "Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel, who is standing upon the sea and upon the land."
By these three plagues the third part of men was killed, by reason of the fire, and the smoke, and the brimstone, that was issuing out of their mouths.
And the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land, lifted up his right hand to Heaven,
Of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand;
Of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; Of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;
And no one in Heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or to look upon it.
And it was said to them, that they should not injure the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only such men as have not the seal of God upon their foreheads.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies.
And the angel has taken the censer; and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it to the earth; and there followed thunders, and voices, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look upon it;
And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and authority was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have authority.
Of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand;
and I saw one of his heads, as if smitten to death. And his death-stroke was healed; and all the earth wondered after the beast.
And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls that were full of the seven last plagues, and spake with me, saying, "Come hither; I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."
And He Who sits upon the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He saith to me, "Write; because these words are faithful and true."
And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
And I saw, and behold, a pale horse; and he that sat on him, his name was Death; and Hades was following with him. And there was given to them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
On this account, rejoice, ye Heavens, and ye who dwell in them! Woe to the earth, and to the sea! because the Devil went down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a little time.
And in those days will men seek death, and shall in no wise find it; and they will desire to die, and death flees from them.
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God out of the hand of the angel.
And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they may nourish her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days.
And I have said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are those who come out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings who come from the rising of the sun might he prepared.
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of the Heaven from God,
And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads as it were crowns like gold; and their faces were as the faces of men.
And I heard a voice from Heaven, saying, "Write: Happy are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth! Yea," saith the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."
And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and authority was given him to work forty-two months.
They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon; and, in the Greek, he has a name Apollyon.
And He said to me, "It has come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him that thirsted of the fountain of the water of life freely.
"I know your works and your toil, and your patience, and that you cannot bear evil men; and you tried those who call themselves apostles, and are not, and found them false;
"And to the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write these things." saith the Son of God, Who hath His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass:
And he that overcomes, and he that keeps My works until the end, to him will I give authority over the nations;
And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me; and, having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies. To him that overcomes, to him will I give of the Hidden Manna; and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knows, but he that receives it.
"And to the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write these things," saith the First and the Last, Who became dead, and lived:
and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished; after these things he must be loosed for a little time.
and, if anyone shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, even from the things written in this book."
And it was given to them, that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it strikes a man.
And I saw, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as worship not the image of the beast should be killed.
And, when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven about half an hour.
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.
he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which has been mingled undiluted in the cup of His anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and before the Lamb.
And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are Thy ways, Thou King of the ages.
And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who, indeed, received no kingdom as yet; but they receive authority as kings, one hour with the beast.
And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; and they were judged, every one, according to their works.
He that overcomes shall inherit these things; and I will be to him a God, and He will be to Me a son.
And the nations were angered, and Thy anger came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to those who fear Thy name, the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth."
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.
And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; because it was given to the gentiles, and they will tread down the holy city forty-two months.
And He hath on His garment, and on His thigh, a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."
After these things I saw another angel coming down out of Heaven, having great authority; and the earth was illumined with his glory.
So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spew you out of My mouth.
And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority;
And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who is sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
in the midst of its street. And on either side of the river, was a tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
saying with a great voice, "Worthy is the Lamb Who hath been slain, to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing!"
"I know your works. Behold, I have set before you a door opened, which no one can shut; because you have a little power, and kept My word, and did not deny My name.
And another, a second angel, followed, saying, "It fell, it fell, Babylon the Great, that has made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication!"
The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And those who dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the founding of the world, when they behold the beast, that he was, and is not, and shall come.
"And to the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write these things," saith He Who hath the sharp, two-edged sword:
And there shall be no more curse. And the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it; and His servants will serve Him;
And they had hair as the hair of women; and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
And the city has no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine upon it; for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
And they worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to make war with him?"
and that no one should be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
And, when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the man-child.
If anyone is for captivity, into captivity he goes; if anyone shall kill with a sword, with a sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
and He is clothed with a garment sprinkled with blood; and His name is called "THE WORD OF GOD."
for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
But I have it against you, that you suffer the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess; and she teaches and seduces My servants to commit fornication, and to eat idol-sacrifices.
And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle.
and before the throne, as it were a glassy sea like crystal; and, in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.
And his tail drags the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon has taken his stand before the woman who is about to bring forth; in order that, when she brings forth, he may devour her child.
Without are the dogs and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one loving and acting a lie.
And there are seven kings; the five fell, and the one is, the other did not yet come. And, when he comes, he must remain a little time.
And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel.
And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of the names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, a first fruit to God and to the Lamb.
And every created thing which is in Heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, "To Him Who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the might, forever and ever!"
And he does great signs, that he should even make fire to come down out of the heaven to the earth, in the sight of men.
And he says to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
And I saw another strong angel, descending out of Heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.
But I have a few things against you, because you have there those holding the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol-sacrifices, and to commit fornication.
because, in consequence of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, have all the nations fallen; and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth became rich by the power of her luxury."
And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, "Babylon the great fell, fell, and became a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird;
And I saw, and, behold, a white horse, and He Who sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him; and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
And it was given to her that she should clothe herself in fine linen, bright, pure; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
And when they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.
And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He may smite the nations, and He will govern them with a rod of iron; and He treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.
And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he makes the earth and those dwelling therein, to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed.
And another angel came, and stood over the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
saying with a great voice, "Fear God, and give glory to Him, because the hour of His judgment came; and worship Him Who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and fountains of waters."
And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God; and he cried with a great voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of seven assemblies; and the seven candlesticks are seven assemblies."
because true and righteous are His judgments; because He judged the great harlot; who, indeed, corrupted the earth with her fornication, and He avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
who testified of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, whatsoever things he saw.
Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and there came a baneful and painful sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.
And I, John, am he who heard and saw these things. And, when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
and will come forth to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
And the Temple of God that is in Heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Temple; and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.
saying, "Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall seal the servants of our God on their foreheads."
Remember, therefore whence you have fallen, and repent, and do your first works; or else I am coming to you, and will remove your candlestick out of its place, if you do not repent.
And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those dwelling on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, who has the stroke of the sword, and lived.
because the Lamb, Who is in the midst of the throne, will be their Shepherd, and will guide them to the fountains of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
And she brought forth a man-child, who is about to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
And I saw, and, behold, a white cloud; and upon the cloud, One sitting, like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown; and, in His hand, a sharp sickle.
with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication."
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates, severally, was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass.
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war with Him Who was sitting on the horse, and with His army.
I am coming speedily; hold fast that which you have, that no one take your crown.
And the seventh poured out his bowl into the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the Temple, from the throne, saying, "it has come to pass!"
And the rest of the men, who were not killed with these plagues, repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship the demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk;
"Behold, I come as a thief! Happy is he that is watching, and keeping his garments; that he walk not naked, and they see his shame."
He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still; and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.
And I heard a voice out of Heaven, as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder; and the voice which I heard was as that of harpers, harping with their harps.
but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God was also finished, according to the good news He proclaimed to His servants the prophets.
And they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song, except the hundred and forty-four thousand, who had been purchased out of the earth.
And the kings of the earth, and the magnates, and the commanders of thousands, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains;
I counsel you to buy of Me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be made manifest; and eye-salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see!
and the wall of the city, having twelve foundations; and on them, twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And, seeing her, I wondered with great wonder.
Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? because Thou only art holy; because all the nations shall come, and worship before Thee; because Thy righteous acts were made manifest."
And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His servants the things which must shortly come to pass.
And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and was gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup, full of abominations, even the impurities of her fornication,
And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city; and fire came down out of the heaven, and devoured them.
And I heard a great voice out of the Temple, saying to the seven angels, "Go, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth."
And their corpses will lie on the street of the great city, which, spiritually, is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified.
And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh, and burn her up with fire.
And I saw as it were a glassy sea mingled with fire; and those who were victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God.
And there will be night no more; and they need no lamp-light, nor light of the sun; because the Lord God will illuminate them, and they shall reign forever and ever.
For this reason are they before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His Temple; and He Who sitteth on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.
having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is an eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.
"And the kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her, shall weep and wail over her, when they behold the smoke of her burning;
Remember, therefore, how you have received, and did hear; and keep it, and repent. If, therefore, you do not watch, I will come as a thief, and you shall not know at what hour I will come upon you.
And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name, and His Tabernacle, even those dwelling in Heaven.
And he says to me, "Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.
And he says to me, "Write, Happy are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he says to me, "These are true words of God."
And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given to it to scorch the men with fire.
And the armies in Heaven were following Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white, pure.
And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom became darkened; and they were gnawing their tongues because of the pain;
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood;
Behold, I give those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie??ehold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I loved you.
And I saw another sign in Heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having seven plagues, the last, because in them was finished the wrath of God.
and swore by Him Who liveth forever and ever, Who created the heaven and the things therein, and the earth and the things therein, and the sea and the things therein, that there shall be delay no longer;
And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood, as of a dead man; and every living soul died, the things in the sea.
The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every manner of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
And the material of its wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like pure glass.
For God gave it into their hearts to do His will, even to execute one purpose, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be accomplished.
As much as she glorified herself, and lived luxuriously, so much torment and mourning give her; because she says in her heart, 'I sit a queen, and am not a widow, and shall in nowise see mourning.'
"And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her; because no one buys their merchandise any more;
And I saw one angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a great voice saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, "Come, gather yourselves together to the great supper of God;
And, behold, I come quickly! Happy is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."
Straightway I was in the Spirit, and, behold, there was a throne set in Heaven, and One sitting upon the throne;
And the angel said to me, "Why did you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
And His eyes are as a flame of fire; and on His head are many diadems; having a name written which no one knows but Himself;
And the city lies four-square, and its length is as great as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs; and the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
And the men were scorched with great heat; and they blasphemed the name of God, Who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not, to give Him glory.
having the glory of God; her radiance was like a stone most precious, as a jasper stone clear as crystal;
Therefore, in one day shall come her plagues, death and mourning and famine; and she shall be burned up with fire; because strong is the Lord God who judged her.
And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, "Give praise to our God, all ye His servants, ye who fear Him, the small and the great."

and cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and of horses, and of chariots, and of slaves, and souls of men.
And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and fountains of waters; and it became blood.
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
And a second time they say, "Hallelujah!" And her smoke ascends forever and ever.
standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! because in one hour your judgment came!'
And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down, and worshiped God, Who sitteth on the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!"
And he measured its wall a hundred and forty-four cubits, a man's measure, that is, an angel's.
And I heard the angel of the waters, saying, "Righteous art Thou, Who art, and Who wast, the Holy One, because Thou didst thus judge;
And after these things I saw, and the Temple of the Tabernacle of the testimony in Heaven was opened;
And he says, "See that you do it not. I am a fellow-servant with you and with your brethren the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book: worship God."
These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
because her sins were joined together even to Heaven, and God remembered her iniquities.
And I heard another out of the altar, saying, "Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Thy judgments."
Render to her, as she also rendered; and double the double according to her works; in the cup which she mixed, mix ye to her double.
because in one hour so great wealth was made desolate!' And every ship-master, and every one sailing to any place, and mariners, and as many as do business at sea, stood afar off;
because they poured out the blood of saints and of prophets, and Thou hast given them blood to drink: they are worthy!"
And he who was talking with me had as a measure a golden reed, that he might measure the city, and its gate, and its wall.
merchandise of gold, and of silver, and of precious stone, and of pearls, and of fine linen, and of purple, and of silk, and of scarlet, and of every kind of fragrant wood, and every vessel of ivory, and every vessel of most precious wood, and of brass, and of iron, and of marble,
and there came out of the Temple the seven angels that had the seven plagues, clothed with linen pure and white, and girded about the breasts with golden girdles.
that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains of thousands, and flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both of free and bond, and of small and great."
and they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.
saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, which was attired in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and was gilded with gold, and precious stone, and pearl;
And the fruit of your souls coveting departed from you, and all dainty things and sumptuous things perished from you, and in nowise shall men find them any more.
And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls, full of the wrath of God, who liveth forever and ever.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power. And no one was able to enter into the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels should be finished.
and they cried out, when beholding the smoke of her burning, saying, 'What city is like the great city?'
on the east were three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates;
The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, shall stand afar off because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
