And I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides these, I do not know if I baptized any other.

For any other foundation can no one lay than the one being laid, who is Jesus Christ.

Then concerning the eating of the things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one.

If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

Do we not have authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord do, and Cephas?

If others have a share of this authority over you, rather should not we? But we have not used this authority, but we endured all things lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

But I buffet my body, and lead it captive, lest proclaiming to others I myself might be rejected.

conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's. For why is my liberty judged by another's conscience?

For you truly give thanks well, but the other is not built up.

yet in a church I desire to speak five words with my mind, so that I might also teach others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.

In the Law it is written, "By other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people, and even so they will not hear Me, says the Lord."

And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others judge.
