For the ungodly hath made boast of his own heart's desire, and speaketh good of the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

For he hath said in his heart, "Tush, I shall never be cast down; there shall no harm happen unto me."

He hath said in his heart, "Tush, God hath forgotten, he hath turned away his face, so that he will never see it."

Wherefore should the wicked blaspheme God, while he doth say in his heart, "Tush, thou God careth not for it?"

LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the poor; thou preparest their heart, and thine ear hearkeneth thereto,

For lo, the ungodly bend their bow, and make ready their arrows within the quiver, that they may privily shoot at them which are true of heart.

They talk of vanity every one with his neighbour; they do but flatter with their lips, and dissemble in their double heart.

How long shall I seek counsel in my soul, and be so vexed in my heart? How long shall mine enemies triumph over me?

But my trust is in thy mercy, and my heart is joyful in thy salvation.

There is neither speech nor language, but their voices are heard among them.

The statutes of the LORD are right, and rejoice the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, and giveth light unto the eyes.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD; my strength and my redeemer.

God spoke once, and twice I have also heard the same, that power belongeth unto God,

These also that seek the hurt of my soul, they shall go under the earth.

That they may privily hurt the innocent, and suddenly hit him without any fear.

They imagine wickedness, and keep it secret among themselves; every man in the deep of his heart.

The righteous shall rejoice in the LORD, and put his trust in him; and all they that are true of heart, shall be glad.

Thou waterest her furrows, thou breakest the hard clots thereof, thou makest it soft with the drops of rain, and blessest the increase of it.

O magnify our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard,

If I incline unto wickedness with my heart, the LORD will not hear me.
