Now all this took place, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

And Jesus having called his disciples to him, said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they have remained with me now three days, and have nothing to eat; and I am not willing to send them away fasting, lest they faint on the road.

And from the figtree learn its parable. When its branch hath now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that summer is near.

Now when Jesus was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

Then the highpriest rent his garments, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? See! ye have now heard the blasphemy.

Now Peter was sitting outside in the court. And a maidservant came to him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus the Galilaean.

Now at the feast the governor was wont to release to the multitude one prisoner, whom they would.

He saved others, cannot he save himself? He is the king of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in him.

saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, and that in this thy day, the things that concern thy peace! but now they are hidden from thine eyes.

when they have already shot forth, ye see it, and know of yourselves that summer is now nigh at hand.

Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the passover, was drawing near;

And he saith to them, Draw out now, and bear it to the master of the feast. And they bore it.

and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now.

For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband; in this thou hast spoken truly.

And as he was now going down, the servants met him, and brought word that his child was living.

Now there is at Jerusalem, by the sheepgate, a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethzatha, having five porches.

Jesus said, Make the men lie down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men lay down, in number about five thousand.

Now the feast of the Jews, the feast of tabernacles, was at hand.

But when it was now the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath spoken to you the truth, which I heard from God; this did not Abraham.

The Jews said to him, Now we know that thou hast a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If any one keep my word, he will never taste of death.

And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? How then doth he now see?

but by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who opened his eyes, we know not; ask him, he is of age; he will speak for himself.

He therefore answered, Whether he is a sinner, I know not; one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Jesus said to them, If ye were blind, ye would not have sin; but now ye say, We see. Your sin remaineth.

The disciples say to him, Rabbi, the Jews but just now were seeking to stone thee, and goest thou thither again?

Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off;

and even now I know that whatever thou shalt ask of God, God will give it thee.

Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was still in the place where Martha met him.

Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders, that, if any one knew where he was, he should give information, that they might seize him.

Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast.

I tell you now before it hath come to pass, that when it hath come to pass ye may believe that I am He.

Now no one at the table knew for what intent he said this to him.

When therefore he had gone out, Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

My children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye will seek me; and, as I said to the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come, so now I say to you.

Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, whither dost thou go? Jesus answered, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou wilt follow me afterward.

And now I have told you before it hath come to pass, that when it hath come to pass ye may believe.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
