so thy poverty shall come as a robber, and thy want as an armed man.

so the knowledge of wisdom [is] to thy soul. If thou have found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy hope shall not be cut off.

Prepare thy work outside, and make it ready for thee in the field, and afterwards build thy house.

Go not forth hastily to strive. What will thou do in the end of it when thy neighbor has put thee to shame?

The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the cost of the field.

And [then will be] goats' milk enough for thy food; for the food of thy household, and maintenance for thy maidens.

If thou have done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou have thought evil, [lay] thy hand upon thy mouth.

Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and minister justice to the poor and needy.
