And the right is turned back, and righteousness is far away: for good faith is not to be seen in the public places, and upright behaviour may not come into the town.

Yes, faith is gone; and he whose heart is turned from evil comes into the power of the cruel: and the Lord saw it, and he was angry that there was no one to take up their cause.

I will even repay it [directly] into their arms,

Both your own wickedness and the wickedness of your fathers,” says the Lord.
“Since they too have made offerings with incense on the mountains
And scorned and taunted Me on the hills,
I therefore will measure [punishment for] their former work [directly] into their arms.”

“Behold, I am creating new heavens and a new earth;
And the former things [of life] will not be remembered or come to mind.

“For all these things My hand has made,
So all these things came into being [by and for Me],” declares the Lord.
“But to this one I will look [graciously],
To him who is humble and contrite in spirit, and who [reverently] trembles at My word and honors My commands.

"Before she goes into labor she gives birth; before her pains come upon her she has delivered a son.

Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen this? Can a country be brought forth in one day? Can a nation be born in a single moment? Yet as soon as Zion goes into labor she gives birth to sons!

For thus sayeth the LORD: behold, I will let peace into her, like a water flood, and the might of the Heathen like a flowing stream. Then shall ye suck, ye shall be born upon her sides, and be joyful upon her knees.

For, by fire, will Yahweh enter into judgment, And by his sword, with all flesh, - And many shall be the slain of Yahweh.

Those who sanctify themselves and those who cleanse themselves {to go into} the gardens after [the] one in the middle, eating the flesh of swine and detestable things and rodents together shall come to an end!" {declares} Yahweh.

Unto them shall I give a token, and send certain of them that be delivered among the Gentiles: into Tarshish, Put and Lud, where men can handle bows; into Tubal also and Javan. The isles far off, that have not heard speak of me, and have not seen my glory, shall preach my praise among the Gentiles

And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an oblation unto Jehovah, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith Jehovah, as the children of Israel bring their oblation in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.
