And the woman took the two men, and hid them. And she said, Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know from where they were.

And it came to pass about the time of the shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out. Where the men went I know not. Pursue after them quickly, for ye will overtake them.

and command ye them, saying, Take for you here out of the midst of the Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and carry them over with you, and lay them down in the lodging-place where ye shall

And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood, and they are there to this day.

And they said to Joshua, We are thy servants. And Joshua said to them, Who are ye, and from where do ye come?
