This is what Joshua did to them: he delivered them from the hands of the Israelites, and they did not kill them.

Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah—nine cities, with their villages;

Goshen, Holon, and Giloh—11 cities, with their villages;

and so that you do not associate with these nations remaining among you. Do not call on the names of their gods or make an oath to them; do not worship them or bow down to them.
