and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove upon him; and there was a voice from heaven, saying, You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.

And as you wish men to do to you, do you also in like manner to them.

Every one that comes to me, and hears my words and does them, I will show you whom he is like.

And the cup in like manner, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant [sealed] with my blood, which is poured out for you.

Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired you, to sift like wheat;

And being in agony, he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat was like large drops of blood falling down to the ground.

And their words appeared to them like idle talk; and they believed them not.
