And those who fed them fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they came out to see what had been done;

And those who had seen it told them how it had happened to the demoniac, and also concerning the swine.

And he looked around to see her that had done this.

He said to them: How many loaves have you? Go and see. And when they had learned, they said: Five, and two fishes.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and said: Why does this generation seek for a sign? Verily I say to you, No sign will be given to this generation.

Having eyes, do you not see? and having ears, do you not hear? and do you not remember?

And he looked up and said: I see men, like trees, walking.

So, also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.

Jesus replied: I am. And you shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the Almighty, and coming with the clouds of heaven.

Pilate again asked him, saying: Do you make no answer? See, how many things they testify against you.

Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. Those also who were crucified with him, reproached him.

And one ran, and filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying: Wait; let us see if Elijah is coming to take him down.

But he said to them: Be not frightened; you seek Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here: see the place where they laid him.
