O that the salvation of Israel came out of Zion! When LORD brings back the captivity of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.

The cords of Sheol were round about me. The snares of death came upon me.

In my distress I called upon LORD, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry before him came into his ears.

He also bowed the heavens, and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.

They came upon me in the day of my calamity, but LORD was my stay.

When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, [even] my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.

O that the salvation of Israel came out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.

And he let it fall in the midst of their camp round about their habitations.

They came round about me like water all the day long. They encompassed me around together.

Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of LORD tried him.

Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

They also envied Moses in the camp, [and] Aaron the sanctified of LORD.

Yea, he loved cursing, and it came to him. And he did not delight in blessing, and it was far from him.

He also clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, and it came into his inward parts like water, and like oil into his bones.

It is like the precious oil upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard, that came down upon the skirt of his garments,
