And he did obeisance, and said, What is thy servant that thou should look upon such a dead dog as I am?

And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah. And if that had been too little, I would have added to thee such and such things.

Thy servant would but just go over the Jordan with the king, and why should the king recompense it to me with such a reward?
