But he went out and began to publish it so much and to spread the story so far, that Jesus could not any more go into any town openly, but had to stay out in thinly settled places. But the people kept coming to Him from every quarter.

and so many people gathered there that there was no longer any room even around the door. He was telling them His message.

Then He said to them: "If you do not understand this story, how, indeed, can you understand any of my stories?

This man lived among the tombs, and no one could any longer subdue him even with a chain,

Even while He was saying this, people came from the house of the leader of the synagogue and said, "Your daughter is dead; why trouble the Teacher any longer?"

He could not do any mighty deeds there, except that He put His hands on a few ailing people and cured them.

And if any place refuses to welcome you or to listen to you, when you leave there shake off the very dust from the soles of your feet as a warning to them."

Now they had forgotten to bring any bread; that is, they had only one loaf with them in the boat.

And without any reserve He was telling them this fact. So Peter took Him aside and began to reprove Him for it.

and His clothes were shining as white as white could be, yea, whiter than any earthly bleacher could bleach them.

So He said to them, "If any man divorces his wife to marry another woman, he commits adultery against his former wife,

and if any woman divorces her husband to marry another man, she commits adultery."

So Jesus said to him, as He saw that he had answered thoughtfully, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And no one ventured to ask Him any more questions.
