According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master-builder, I laid a foundation; and another builds thereon. But let each one take heed how he builds thereon;

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, then, things pertaining to this life?

But I wish you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;

but he that is married is anxious for the things of the world, how he may please his wife,

Even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, if they give no distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

So also ye, unless through the tongue ye give intelligible speech, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye will be speaking into the air!

Else, if you are blessing with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unlearned say the "Amen" at your giving of thanks, since he knows not what you say?

Now if Christ is preached, that He hath been raised from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead.

But some one will say, "How are the dead raised? and with what kind of body do they come?"
