And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Take heed now, for Jehovah has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it. Do not fear, nor be dismayed, for Jehovah God, my God, will be with you. He will not fail you nor leave you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of Jehovah.

The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; but a foolish son is the sorrow of his mother.

A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish man despises his mother.

A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him.

A foolish son is ruin to his father, and the quarreling of a wife is a never-ending dripping.

And it shall be, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, Jehovah your God shall keep to you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

You shall be blessed above all people. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your cattle.

And you shall know that your seed will be numerous, and your offspring as the grass of the earth.

For you shall surely eat the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and all is well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine by the sides of your house; your sons shall be like olive plants around your table. Behold! So shall the man be blessed who fears Jehovah.

Yea, you shall see the sons of your sons. Peace be on Israel.

You have slaughtered My sons and gave them to cause these to pass through the fire for them.

Rejoice, in your youth, young man; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

Woe to the rebellious sons, says Jehovah, who make advice, but not of Me; and who cover with a covering, but not of My Spirit, that they add sin to sin;

ruling his own house well, having children in subjection with all honor.

Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and households well.

And the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh, the son of Joseph came. And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters and sent to Samaria to the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to the supporters of Ahab, saying,

But I say, Over so long a time the heir is an infant, he does not differ from a slave, though being lord of all; but he is under guardians and housemasters until the term appointed before by the father.

In the fear of Jehovah is strong hope, and His sons shall have a place of refuge.

Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the Devil: everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God, also he who does not love his brother.
