So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, [because they] had seen all [the things] he had done in Jerusalem at the feast (for they themselves had also come to the feast).

When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him repeatedly to come down and heal his son, because he was about to die.

because an angel would go down into the pool from time to time and stir up the water. Then the first one who got in after the water was stirred up recovered from whatever ailment he had].

So, the Jews said to the man who was healed, "It is not permissible for you to pick up your cot because it is the Sabbath day."

But the man who was cured did not know who it was, because Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there.

For the father loveth the son, and showeth him all things, whatsoever he himself doeth. And he will show him greater works than these, because ye should marvel.

because that all men should honour the son, even as they honour the father. He that honoureth not the son, the same honoureth not the father which hath sent him.

'Wonder not at this, because there doth come an hour in which all those in the tombs shall hear his voice,

“But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

(Now he said this to test him, because he knew what he was going to do.)

"Make the men sit down," said Jesus. The ground was covered with thick grass; so the men sat down, in numbers about five thousand. "of righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you will no longer see me;

Then Jesus, [because he] knew that they were about to come and seize him in order to make [him] king, withdrew again up the mountain [by] himself alone.

The sea was getting rough and rising high because a strong wind was blowing.

The day following, the multitude who had stood on the other side of the sea, because they saw there was no other vessel there, save that one into which his disciples went, and that Jesus went not into the vessel with his disciples, but that his disciples were gone away alone:

But Jesus, [because he] knew within himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, "Does this cause you to be offended?

But there are some among you who don't believe..." - because Jesus knew from the beginning those who weren't believing, as well as the one who would betray him.

and he said, 'Because of this I have said to you -- No one is able to come unto me, if it may not have been given him from my Father.'

(Now he was speaking about Judas [son] of Simon Iscariot, because this one--one of the twelve--was going to betray him.)

Because no man does things secretly if he has a desire that men may have knowledge of him. If you do these things, let yourself be seen by all men.

But when it was already the middle of the feast, Jesus went up to the Temple and began to teach. "I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Then the Jews were astonished, saying, "How does this man {possess knowledge}, [because he] has not been taught?"

Jesus answered and said unto them, I did one work, and ye all marvel because thereof.

Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

And when his words came to their ears, they went out one by one, starting with the oldest even to the last, because they were conscious of what was in their hearts: and Jesus was there by himself with the woman before him.

Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness concerning myself, my witness is true, because I know whence I came and whither I go: but ye know not whence I come and whither I go.

And his disciples put a question to him, saying, Master, was it because of this man's sin, or the sin of his father and mother, that he has been blind from birth?

Jesus said in answer, It was not because of his sin, or because of his father's or mother's; it was so that the works of God might be seen openly in him.

Then the neighbors and those who saw him previously (because he was a beggar) began to say, "Is this man not the one who used to sit and beg?"

So they said to the blind man again, "What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?" And he said, "He is a prophet."

because of this his parents said -- 'He is of age, ask him.'

Jesus said to them, “If you were blind [to spiritual things], you would have no sin [and would not be blamed for your unbelief]; but since you claim to have [spiritual] sight, [you have no excuse so] your sin and guilt remain.
