And straightway the damsel arose and walked: for she was twelve years old. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

And on the sabbath he taught in the synagogue, and many hearing were astonished, saying, Whence hath this man these things? And what wisdom is this that is given him, that such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

And he said to them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

And Jesus coming out saw a great multitude, and was moved with tender compassion for them; because they were as sheep having no shepherd, and he taught them many things.

(For they all saw him and were troubled.) And immediately he talked with them, and saith to them, Take courage: it is I: be not afraid.

And he went up to them into the boat, and the wind ceased: and they were amazed in themselves above measure and wondered.

And when they were come out of the boat, they knew him,

And ran thro' the whole country round about, and brought about in beds them that were ill, where they heard he was.

And wheresoever he entered into villages, cities, or country-places, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the hem of his garment; and as many as touched him were made whole.

And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well; he maketh both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.

So they did eat and were satisfied; and they took up of the fragments that were left, seven baskets.

And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

For he knew not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them to tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

And they laid hold on that saying, questioning one with another, What meaneth, Till he were risen from the dead?

And straightway all the multitude seeing him, were greatly amazed, and running to him, saluted him.

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answering again saith to them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God?

And they were astonished out of measure, saying to each other, Who then can be saved?

And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went before them. And they were amazed, and as they followed, they were afraid. And taking the twelve again, he told them what things should befall him:

And the ten hearing it, were much displeased with James and John.

And when they were come nigh to Jerusalem to Bethphage and Bethany,

And on the morrow, as they were coming from Bethany, he was hungry.

And Jesus sitting over-against the treasury, beheld how the people cast mony into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

But there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

And hearing it they were glad, and promised to give him mony. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

And going forward a little, he fell on the ground, and prayed, that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

he found them asleep again (for their eyes were heavy) and they knew not what to answer him.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest, and with him were assembled all the chief priests, and the elders and scribes.

For many bore false witness against him; but their evidences were not sufficient.

Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. They also that were crucified with him reviled him.

There were also women, beholding from afar, among whom was Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James the less, and of Joses, and Salome:

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man, sitting on the right-side, clothed in a white robe; and they were affrighted.

And going out, they fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: and they said nothing to any; for they were afraid.

After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they were walking, going into the country.
