I will break the gate bars of Damascus and I will cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven and the one who takes hold of the scepter of Beth Eden, and the people of Aram will go into exile to Kir," says Yahweh.

And I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod and the one who takes hold of the scepter of Ashkelon. I will also turn my hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines will perish," says the Lord Yahweh.

And they lay themselves down by every altar upon clothes taken in pledge, and they drink in the house of their God the wine of the condemned.

Truly, you will take up Saccuth your king and Kaiwan your images, the star of your god, which you made for yourselves.

So I will cause you to be taken captive beyond Damascus," says the LORD, whose name is God of the Heavenly Armies.

The Lord revoked this sentence.

The Lord has taken an oath by the pride of Jacob, Truly I will ever keep in mind all their works.
