Over and over he continued to beg Jesus not to send them away out of the country.

Then they began to beg Jesus to depart from their district.

But when Herod heard, he said, "That John whom I beheaded has come back to life."

When the apostles had come back to Jesus, they told him all the things they had done, and all they had taught.
