Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of the scornful.
For You have possessed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb.
Delight yourself also in Jehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is wickedness; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.
so that I may declare all Your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will rejoice in Your salvation.
I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set against me all around.
Bless Jehovah, all His works in all places of His rule; bless Jehovah, O my soul.
With the merciful, You will show Yourself merciful; with an upright man You will show Yourself upright;
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.
Lift up your heads, O gates; and be lifted up, O everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
My defense is from God, who saves the upright in heart.

Why do You stand afar off, O Jehovah? Will You hide in times of trouble?
It is God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect.
Salvation belongs to Jehovah. Your blessing is on Your people. Selah.
The foolish shall not stand in Your sight. You hate all doers of iniquity.
For the needy shall not always be forgotten; the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.
Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God; for You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone. You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.

Through the pride of his face the wicked will not seek Him; There is no God in all his schemes.
Break the arm of the wicked and the evil one; seek out his wickedness, until You find none.

For in death there is no memory of You; in the grave who shall give You thanks?
The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; let them be taken in the plans that they have imagined.
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; and Your right hand has held me up, and Your gentleness has made me great.
He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me on my high places.
all sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field;
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud; under his tongue are mischief and vanity.
Behold, he labors in pain with iniquity, and he has conceived mischief, and has brought forth falsehood.

As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of Jehovah is tried; He is a shield to all those who trust in Him.

Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of men, to see if there were any who understood and sought God.
For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all those who call on You.

You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Jehovah, have not forsaken those who seek You.
God causes the lonely to live at home; He brings out those who are bound with chains; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
They also gave Me gall for my food; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink.
Jehovah will perfect His work in me; Your mercy, O Jehovah, endures forever; do not forsake the work of Your own hands.

When I am afraid I will trust in You.
Be strong, and He will make your heart stronger, all you who hope in Jehovah.

Have mercy on me, O Jehovah, for I am in trouble; my eye has become old with grief, my soul and my belly.
I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your Law is within My heart.
Serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then Jehovah will take me up.
O love Jehovah, all you saints of His; Jehovah preserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer.
Praise Jehovah; for it is good to sing praises to our God; for praise is delightful and becoming.
He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
Bless Jehovah, O angels of His, who excel in strength, who do His command, listening to the voice of His Word.
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God; for I still praise Him, the salvation of my face, and my God.

He makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire.

The counsel of Jehovah stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.

I will bless Jehovah, who has given me wisdom; my heart also instructs me in the nights.

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and he who sets a way, I will show him the salvation of God.

He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart;
O worship Jehovah in the beauty of holiness; fear before Him, all the earth.
Sing praises to Jehovah, O you saints of His, and give thanks at the memory of His holiness.
Blessed are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek Him with all the heart.
For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood.
My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise.
To You who hears prayer, all flesh comes.
The wicked borrows, and never pays again; but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.
O my God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore I will remember You from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermons, from mount Mizar.
Oh that men would praise Jehovah for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the sons of man!

My help comes from Jehovah, who made Heaven and earth.
But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.
From the end of the earth I cry to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the Rock higher than I.
Surely I have behaved and have quieted my soul, as one weaned by its mother; my soul on me is like one weaned.
You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
saying, Touch not my anointed, and do My prophets no harm.
Jehovah shall keep you from all evil; He shall keep your soul.
Jehovah sits on the flood; yea, Jehovah sits as King forever.
As smoke is driven away, You drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, let the wicked perish in the presence of God.
But the righteous are glad; they rejoice before God. Yes, let them exceedingly rejoice.
God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
Also to You, O Jehovah, belongs mercy; for You give to every man according to his work.
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God; for I still praise Him, the salvation of my face, and my God.
He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, and has not sworn deceitfully.
As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
If I walk in the midst of trouble, You will give me life; You shall stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand shall save me.
He who goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
The sorrows of death hemmed me in, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
Blessed is the one whom You choose, and cause to come near You. He shall dwell in Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.
But God will redeem my soul from the hand of the grave; for He will take me. Selah.
Jehovah has sworn to David in truth; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body I will set on the throne for you.
And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no one living is just.
You are my hiding-place and my shield; I hope in Your Word.
An Instruction of Asaph. O God, have You cast us off forever? Will Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?
Before I was afflicted I went astray; but now I have kept Your Word.
He sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.
My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul.
Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore He will teach sinners in the way.
O Jehovah my God, many things You have done, Your wonderful works and Your thoughts which are toward us; they cannot be set in order to You; I will declare and speak, for they are more than can be numbered.
My tongue shall speak Your Word, for all Your Commandments are righteousness.
The works of Jehovah are great, sought out by all those who have pleasure in them.

The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the harp and lyre.
SAMECH: I hate half-hearted thoughts; but Your Law do I love.
Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Jehovah, among the nations, and sing praises to Your name,
Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine by the sides of your house; your sons shall be like olive plants around your table.
Deep calls to deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and Your billows have gone over me.
Beautiful on high, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Jehovah, You keep man and beast.
Praise Jehovah! Praise the name of Jehovah; praise Him, servants of Jehovah.
This shall be written for the generation to come; and the people who shall be created shall praise Jehovah.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand,
I will not break My covenant, nor change the thing that has gone out of My lips.
A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O Jehovah, do not rebuke me in Your wrath; neither chasten me in Your fury.
From the rising of the sun to its going down, Jehovah's name is to be praised.
Great things did Jehovah to work with us and we are glad.

The dead do not praise Jehovah, nor do any who go down into silence.

Jehovah brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He breaks the plots of the people.
He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of bronze is bent by my arms.
But I trusted in You, O Jehovah; I said, You are my God.
Their sorrows shall be multiplied who run after another god. I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood; and I will not take their names on my lips.
But when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I humbled my soul with fastings; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.

I will think on Your Commandments and have respect to Your ways.

There is a river, its channels gladden the city of God glad, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O Jehovah, to teach him out of Your Law;
And He rode on a cherub, and flew; yea, He soared on the wings of the wind.
These things you have done, and I have kept silence; you thought that I was like yourself, but I will rebuke you, and set in order before your eyes.
Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts.
who has shown me great and evil distresses; You will turn me; You will make me live. You will turn me from the depths of the earth, You will bring me up.

Satisfy us early with Your mercy, so that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Who is the man that desires life, and loves days, that he may see good?
Examine me, O Jehovah, and prove me; purify my heart and my mind.

The wicked has many sorrows, but mercy embraces him who trusts in Jehovah.

O God, You have cast us off, You have scattered us, You were angry; take us back.
All the paths of Jehovah are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Blessed are the peoples who are so; blessed are the peoples to whom Jehovah is their God.
I will sing to Jehovah as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
I will remember the works of Jehovah; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
So I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall stretch out her hands to God.
They who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;
Let Israel hope in Jehovah; for with Jehovah there is mercy, and with Him is plentiful redemption.

For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are kept forever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
Wait on Jehovah, and keep His way, and He shall lift you up to inherit the earth; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
For who in the sky can be ranked with Jehovah? Who among the mighty is like Jehovah?

He made darkness His secret place, His pavilion around Him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

Through Your Commandments I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
Jehovah shall keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
In God I will praise His Word; in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.
The eyes of all wait on You; and You give them their food in due season.
You divide the sea by Your strength; You break the heads of the sea-monsters in the waters.
And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.
The chariots of God are myriads, thousands of thousands; the Lord is among them, in Sinai, in the holy place.

For it is not an enemy who reviled me; then I could have borne it; it is not one who hates me who magnified himself against me; or I would hide myself from him;
We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up banners; may Jehovah fulfill all your prayers.
The works of His hands are truth and judgment; all His commands are true,
How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, and grieved Him in the desert!
And now when I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not leave me; until I have declared Your strength to this generation, and Your power to everyone who is to come.
They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; like a robe You shall change them, and they shall be changed;
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to Him with psalms.
Praise Jehovah our God, and worship at His holy hill; for Jehovah our God is holy.
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my tower; I shall not be greatly moved.
He lays the beams of His upper rooms in the waters. He sets the clouds as His chariots; He walks on the wings of the wind;
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips,
I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Jehovah; let Your loving-kindness and Your truth always watch over me.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Jehovah, You know it altogether.
You have closed me in behind and in front, and laid Your hand on me.
Bring me out of the net that they hid for me, for You are my strength.

Jehovah also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave forth His voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
I will cry to God most high, to God who does all things for me.
I am a companion of all who fear You, and of those who keep Your Commandments.
Though Jehovah is high, yet He has respect to the lowly; but the proud He knows afar off.
His name shall endure forever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun; and men shall be blessed in Him; all nations shall call Him blessed.
You have delivered Me from the strivings of the people; You have made Me the head of the nations; a people whom I have not known shall serve Me.
You visit the earth and water it; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, for in this way You have prepared it.
As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the sons of the young.
You shall arise, and have mercy on Zion; for the time to pity her, yea, the set time, has come.
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flowering;
Jehovah knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain.
With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.

He has scattered abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which You have broken may rejoice.
For His merciful kindness is great toward us; and the truth of Jehovah endures forever. Praise Jehovah!
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation; lo, I have not kept back My lips, O Jehovah, You know.
Bow my heart to Your testimonies, and not to unjust gain.
Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
For Your arrows stick fast in me, and Your hand presses heavily on me.
My eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for He shall pluck my feet out of the net.
I believed, therefore I have spoken; I was greatly afflicted;

They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
For Jehovah is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
O Jehovah, You have brought up my soul from the grave; You have kept me alive, so that I should not go down to the Pit.
What profit is in my blood, in going down to the pit? Shall the dust praise You? Shall it tell of Your truth?
The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.
Who is this King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle.
Now You have cast us off, and have shamed us, and You do not go forth with our armies.
And the heavens shall declare His righteousness; for God Himself is judge. Selah.
These all wait on You, that You may give them their food in due season.
Your Word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it.
And the heavens shall praise Your wonders, O Jehovah, Your faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
Let praise be to Jehovah from the earth, the sea-monsters, and all deeps;
I have become a stranger to My brothers, and a foreigner to My mother's children.
Hear the voice of my prayers, when I cry to You, when I lift up my hands toward Your Holy Place.
so that my glory may sing praise to You, and not be silent. O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
O Jehovah, do I not hate those who hate You? And am I not grieved with those who rise up against You?
Have all the workers of iniquity not known, eating up My people as they eat bread? They have not called on Jehovah.
For Your name's sake, O Jehovah, pardon my iniquity; for it is great.
All my bones shall say, O Jehovah, who is like You, who delivers the poor from those stronger than he; yea, the poor and the needy from him who plunders him?
I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are my prayer.
Gather My saints to Me; and those who cut My covenant by sacrifice.
Blessed are they who dwell in Your house; they will still praise You. Selah.
Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God.
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Deliver me from the guilt of shedding blood, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
But I will hope without ceasing, and I will add more in all Your praise.
For You are great and do wonderful things; You alone are God.
O Jehovah, how great are Your works; Your purposes are very deep.

If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and the fullness of it.
How long shall I take counsel in my heart having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall my enemy be lifted up over me?
I know, O Jehovah, that Your judgments are right, and that You have afflicted me in faithfulness.
O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.
Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.

Our God is the God of salvation; and to Jehovah are the issues of death.

The sorrows of death hemmed me in, and the pains of hell took hold on me; I found trouble and sorrow.
Return to your rest, O my soul; for Jehovah has dealt bountifully with you.
