“Go!” He told them. So when they had come out, they entered the pigs. And suddenly the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the water.

So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.

While He was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came as guests to eat with Jesus and His disciples.

and asked Him, “Are You the One who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come.

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

Just then someone came up and asked Him, “Teacher, what good must I do to have eternal life?”

When evening came, the owner of the vineyard told his foreman, ‘Call the workers and give them their pay, starting with the last and ending with the first.’

“When those who were hired about five came, they each received one denarius.

So when the first ones came, they assumed they would get more, but they also received a denarius each.

The blind and the lame came to Him in the temple complex, and He healed them.

Where did John’s baptism come from? From heaven or from men?”

They began to argue among themselves, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’

For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him. Tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him, but you, when you saw it, didn’t even change your minds then and believe him.

“But when the tenant farmers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance!’

He sent out his slaves to summon those invited to the banquet, but they didn’t want to come.

Again, he sent out other slaves, and said, ‘Tell those who are invited: Look, I’ve prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
