Why does this thus speak blasphemies? who can remit sins but the one God

And the scribes and Pharisees having seen him eating with publicans and sinful, said to his disciples, Why does he eat and drink with publicans and sinful?

And say to him, By what power doest thou these things? and who gave thee this power that thou doest these things ?

Ye have heard the blasphemy; How does it appear to you? And they all condemned him to be liable to the penalty of death.
