Shecaniah's son was Shemaiah, and the six sons of Shemaiah were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.

Reaiah the son of Shobal became the father of Jahath, and Jahath became the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the families of the Zorathites.

And these were of the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi:

Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These were the sons of Hur, the eldest of Ephrathah (Ephrath), the father of Bethlehem.

Koz fathered Anub, Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.

The descendants of Jephunneh's son Caleb were Iru, Elah, and Naam. Elah's son was Kenaz.

Shallum was Shaul’s son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

And the son of Mishma was Hammuel, and his son was Zaccur, and the son of him was Shimei.

And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters, but his brothers had only a small number of children, and their family was not as fertile as the children of Judah.

Joel, Joshibiah's son Jehu (who was the grandson of Seraiah and great-grandson of Asiel),

Shiphi's son Ziza (who was the grandson of Shiphi, who was fathered by Allon, who was fathered by Jedaiah, who was fathered by Shimri, who was fathered by Shemaiah)
