He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly.

Then he got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch."

He told them a parable also: "No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it on an old one; if he does, he will tear the new garment, and the piece from the new will not match the old.

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined.

But new wine must be put into new wineskins.

Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."

"No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.

Jesus said to him, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."

And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.

"No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.

Then he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about your body, what you will put on.

But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.

and he also saw a poor widow put in two copper coins.

You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.

Two others, criminals, were also led with him to be put to death.
