Now when I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and when a door was opened for me in the Lord,

through glory and dishonor, evil report and good report; true, yet regarded as impostors;

For if I have boasted to him about you, I was not put to shame; but just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting before Titus has proved true.

For we do not dare to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But when they measure themselves by themselves, and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.

To my shame, I must say that we were too weak for that! But whatever anyone else dares to boast aboutI am speaking as a foolI also dare to boast about.

The signs of a true apostle were performed among you in all perseverance, with signs and wonders and mighty works.
